Hoshiki Kiritsu Martial Arts was developed by Kyoshi
Matt Charnley (6th Degree Black Belt). Kyoshi Matt
has been training since 1983 and teaching since 1991.
Over the last 35 years Kyoshi Matt has dedicated his
life to the study of Martial Arts and has trained
intensively to enable him to develop a strong, practical
and comprehensive Martial Art. This is evident in
his recent attainment of a Diploma in Sports Coaching
& Development - specialising in Martial Arts.
Kyoshi Matt was inducted into the Australasian
Martial Arts Hall of Fame (AMAHOF)
in 2018.
In June 2018 he was awarded a 5th Dan World
Ranking and Gold Card Holder of the World
Kumite Organisation (WKO).

Maree specialises in teaching Self Defence applications
